Dawn & Jimmy

More great weather for Dawn & Jimmy's wedding at Laurencekirk and then the Glenesk Hotel in Edzell. The morning started with a few spots of rain, but true to form, Dawn arrived a few minutes late to the church which meant that the sun came out just as they exited the church. It was a great day, and there was definitely influence from Jimmy's refereeing which saw several mentions throughout the day, including use of the red and yellow cards during the ceremony!

Family Lifestyle Portrait Shoot

Another great portrait shoot, this time with 16 month old twins and their big sister...definitely easier said than done! Nonetheless, we managed to get some shots of the 3 of them together, and even with mum and dad as well...

Ashley & Gavin's Pre-Wedding Shoot

Another pre-wedding shoot, this time it's Ashley & Gavin's turn....and Aiden! There was no way we could leave the little guy out of the shoot, and he was more than happy to join in. After a bit of family time, then it was back to the two of them....and what a giggle it was... I can't wait for this wedding - I'm convinced they are going to spend the day laughing at each other and their romantic efforts!

Lifestyle Portraits

These two are lucky enough to have fields and fields right in their back garden, so we took a walk about to see what we could find.... Such concentration is shown when looking at the long grass, but it was soon a completely different character when we got back to the garden to play!

Lifestyle Portraits

Some more portraits, this time with the aim of getting 5 grandchildren together....how hard could it be? Well, it certainly wasn't that easy as the littlest one was determined to stay clung to anyone except his siblings or cousins for as long as possible!

Lyndsey & Andrew, 11th July 2009

Another beautiful day for a wedding, and this time it was Lyndsey & Andrew's. They chose the gorgeous setting of Rufflets Country House just outside St Andrews for their day, and much to Lyndsey's delight the weather was perfect for their ceremony to be held outside in the grounds. Being a big shoe fan, she was even more delighted to have a pair of Jimmy Choos bought especially for the wedding, and these were one of the important photos to be taken! Having done a pre-wedding shoot with them back in April, they were both really relaxed about the photography which makes a big difference, and I think this shows. Hope you both have a fab honeymoon and will see you soon!

Dawn & Jimmy's Pre-Wedding Shoot

Dawn & Jimmy are getting married in a few weeks time, so we met up recently to go through all the details for the wedding, and also did a pre-wedding shoot with them. It's a great opportunity to really get to know how a couple are together before their wedding, and more importantly lets them know what I'll be like on the day! It was a gorgeous day, so we took a walk down to a local park, here's a few of their shots.

Fiona & Colin's Pre-Wedding Shoot

A couple of weeks ago I met up with Fiona & Colin while they were back in Scotland for a few days for their pre-wedding shoot. We decided to meet at Dunnottar Castle for our shoot, and kept fingers crossed that the weather would hold....and it did...until we got to the entrance anyway! Luckily the rain soon passed, and we even managed to get some blue sky for the photos. Hopefully we'll have a little less wind for the wedding in October!
